The handmade pottery sounds beautiful and you'll definitely love your Tom Tom (I like mine as he doesn't answer back lol) The LOTR was from Amazon... they do lots of jewellery as well as unusual gifts like a staff of saruman pen (another on my wish list) Helly x Celebrating 10yrs of National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society Doing a Tandem Skydive - May 2011 - All Sponsorship Welcome - www.justgiving.com/helencopeland Read my blog - Helly Copeland

I'd LOVE to know if Anthea managed to get ALL those listed gifts!!!!
Helly- thank you...I love Elemis too. Mark had walked wound the whole of Oxford and not found Decleor (odd but not surprising!LOL) and so he settled with Clarins!
The tom-tom is a life saver- we're off to visit my Godparents today in Dorset and get lost every single time! LOL M has put the lady's voice on, not too nauseating!
Much love, A

It's lovely reading about everyones pressies!
I'm just off to look at the Amazon LOTR stuff - really fancy one of those pens! The ring is just stunning, Helly.
Amanda - I love Elemis - my skin is awful (often have lots of dry, very flaky, red patches but other parts are greasy!!) and I survive on a mixture of Elemis, Clarins and Decleor.
We have all had some great presents - as Julie says - we're worth it!

Well, I only got two of the books, Amanda, and nobody could bring themselves to buy the Elaine Paige CD(!) but I got most of the other things, including the music writing software. Plus I got some foot warmers, biscuits, chocolates, flowers, a book on micro-macrame jewellery making, smellies, a necklace, earrings and an "Alberquerque balloon festival" t-shirt and badge/brooch. Oh, and some friends we were meant to exchange gifts with just before Christmas were snowed in, so I've still got theirs to come :-)

Which Tom-Tom did you get Amanda? I bought one a few weeks before Christmas....... XL with Lane Guidance. I like Sean the Irishman to navigate me, but I'm thinking about upgrading to Andy, the Scotsman. Carol

Hi Amanda, I think they're brilliant too! I haven't driven very far since my hip was put back in, but I've been using it on journeys I know well to try it out. I'd definitely feel more confident driving somewhere unfamiliar with the Tom Tom and would recommend it to anyone thinking of buying one. Carol

Hi Sophie, I bought mine because it was on offer, about £159 I think. I bought an XL Classic first for £119 at Tesco.com, used my Clubcard vouchers and paid about £85, but then realised it wasn't the model I wanted. I wanted one with lane guidance, so returned it to Tesco for a refund and bought the one I wanted from Argos. Carol

Gosh, is that how expensive they are Carol?!
We like the 'night light' - so impressive!
Good luck with your journeys!

Amanda

Forgot to mention last night, I also bought a Nav Mat (about £20), a circular, weighted cushion to place on the dash, to sit the Tom Tom on, saves having tell-tale circles on your windows. Another brilliant invention! Amanda, I'm not sure what the "night light" is yet - I haven't been out in the dark! Carol
